Story
Jiufen was a major gold mining town in the past. It is located in the northeastern hills of Taiwan. The village is situated next to a mountain with a view of the sea. Jiufen is fading as gold mining activity comes to a halt. Other films later chose to film here, and the films received international acclaim.
Jiufen Old Street is the busiest shopping street. It runs through the majority of the village. On the street, there are a lot of people. Businesses along the route sell Jiufen's most famous country snack, yam dish, and other regional specialties. Several historical artifacts have been well-protected.
