💠第一個亮相的生物是某種大型浮游生物，尚未定義的品種，只能歸類為端足目下的分類。

。分佈在海洋表層，隨海水漂流
。前端口器為進食用
。側身有發光器官，藉由陽光能量轉化
。夜晚會發出藍光吸引小型生物捕食
。有時會用口器咬著寄生在魚身上
