「普利特維采湖群國家公園」Nacionalni park Plitvička jezera，亦稱「布里特威斯湖國家公園」，位於克羅埃西亞中部的喀斯特山區，創立於1949年，為東南歐歷史最悠久的國家公園，也是克羅埃西亞最大的國家公園，公園境內主要為「喀斯特地形」，有許多石灰岩地形，形成許多高低落差不同的湖泊、洞穴、瀑布等地形。由於境內有16個主要湖泊(上湖區12個、下湖區4個)，故又被稱為「十六湖國家公園」。

下湖區：共4個湖泊，位於石灰岩峽谷中，境內擁有大大小小的無數瀑布，聲勢極為壯觀。位於最末端的「普萊斯特大瀑布」更是高度落差達78公尺，相當值得一看。
「十六湖國家公園」是克羅埃西亞最著名的自然生態保護區，擁有最特殊地形地貌、在四季分明的自然景觀當中變化不同面貌！由於自然資源豐富，公園裏的森林已成為熊、狼各種野生動物和許多稀有鳥類的家園。生態物種豐富、自然景觀鬼斧神工，加上四季分明、春夏秋冬風貌各異，每年吸引數百萬遊客專程從世界各地造訪。
