西洋情人節（Valentine’s Day）

講到西洋情人節就要從古羅馬時期開始說起。

那時因為戰爭，需要大量兵力

當時的羅馬皇帝下令在規定年齡範圍內的男性必須加入軍隊參戰，並且下令禁止結婚。

而此時有位叫Valentine的神父 不顧禁令 私下秘密證婚 但仍然不小心走漏風聲 被上報給羅馬皇帝，皇帝一怒之下逮補了Valentine神父並將他處以絞刑 。

處死那天正好是2/14，後來人們為了紀念他。就以神父Valentine為命名，因此就有了Valentine’s Day（情人節）。
