Story
I absolutely fell in love with this track while remixing it. Inspired by its essence, I took the initiative to add a captivating second verse, enriching it with harmonies to intensify the emotional impact. By incorporating lyrical metaphors, I continued the vulnerable theme established in "The Way We Were." Additionally, I introduced an EDM bassline to heighten the climactic effect in the final chorus, while playing around with a call-and-response interplay along side Kimbra's commanding lead vocals.
