。總是伴隨著深海洋流一起出現，不知是能感應洋流還是能操控水流

。阿比斯的記載，可以回朔到上個世紀拉萊耶城中的雕刻，一度被認為是傳說生物

。堅硬的外殼覆蓋在身體外側，遮住柔軟的器官與內臟

。像是翅膀的胸鰭，骨骼與哺乳類相似，骨骼中間有翼膜相連

。露在殼外的觸手結構推測是用來覓食與感知作用

。自主發光，且顏色會不斷變化，詳細情況有待調查
