Story
I had a great time re-imagining the production of Kimbra's amazing song, the way we were. The lyrics and the melody inspired an evolving track that begins spacey, goes heavy, and ends lush. I combined many elements from different genres; trap-inspired drums with lush synthesizers and strings, and heavy bass alongside smooth electric guitars. I have been a huge fan of Kimbra's for many years, it was such an exciting honor to work with her song and her voice, and I am stoked about the result.
