馬六甲「海峽清真寺」位於馬六甲人工填土造陸的人工島，又稱為雙島城（Pulau Melaka）。距離馬六甲市中心大約15分鐘的車程。「海峽清真寺」於2006年興建完成，當時耗資了1000萬的馬幣，並在11月由馬來西亞最高元首 「端姑賽西拉祖丁 」主持開幕式。此建築融合了中東特色與馬來元素，內部的雕刻也相當精湛。
