Story

Inspiration
The world is a painting, its beauty and sorrow are not only the appearance, but the inner feelings of each person, and travel is not only to increase knowledge, but also to obtain spiritual desires. It is better to travel thousands of miles than to read thousands of books. Although the Internet is far and wide, it is the experience of others. Only by personally experiencing unfamiliar cultures, different languages and food that has never been tasted will you have your own insights. Knowledge is transformed into wisdom through action.
Painting subject: Namibia - Red Desert
The Namib Desert, half sea and half fire, is the oldest and driest desert in the world.
The Namib Desert (Namib is the Nama language) is a desert in western Namibia, located in the largest national park in Africa, Namibi-Nokluf National Park. The desert covers an area of 50,000 square kilometers. It starts from the borders of Angola and Namibia, ends at the Orange River, and extends 2,100 kilometers along the Atlantic coast of southwest Africa. The desert is 160 kilometers at its widest point and 10 kilometers at its narrowest point, with a total length of 1,900 kilometers. The Namib Desert means "a place of nothing" according to the Nama language. This area is considered to be the oldest desert in the world. The dry climate has lasted for at least 80 million years. The annual rainfall along the coast is less than 25 mm. It is often a sudden storm, and there is often no rain throughout the year. Namibia is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Africa, and the Red Desert is its brightest sign. The sand is rich in iron. After hundreds of millions of years, these irons have been oxidized and turned red, and they are wrapped on the sand and gravel, so the surface of the desert turns red.
The most well-known attractions are "Big Daddy Dune" and "No. 45 Dune". "No. 45 Dune" is 170 meters high and looks like an Egyptian pyramid. From different angles and times, you can see the works of art created by light on the 325-meter-high "45 Dunes". Only by seeing it with your own eyes can you truly appreciate the shocking beauty of "45 Dunes". Looking at this dune No. 45, which was formed about 5 million years ago, the ridgeline of the dune is outlined by soft and curved lines, and the extremely beautiful streamline at the commanding height shows the magic-like charm. The dune is like a red canvas. Dead wood The shadows of the branches are reflected on the canvas, without the need for careful planning, all of them show the dry landscape of the Japanese garden created by nature, overflowing with a strong sense of Zen.
